British Values

We actively create opportunities which expose the pupils to learn, explore and apply these British values of democracy, tolerance, individual liberty, mutual respect and the rule of law.

Democracy:

We have elected our class councillors and they are busy listening to pupil ideas and working together to make the school a better place for everyone.

Mutual Respect:

As a school work together to respect our personal space and belongings. We share resources and take time to listen to each other’s ideas. Remember, we want everyone to feel safe and happy at school – and together WE can all make that happen.

Individual Liberty:

We are rewarded for the good choices we make, we can move into the inspiration zone, get certificates and Dojo points. We understand the rewards and also the consequences.

The Rule of Law:

We understand the need for rules and strive to achieve success by following them – they prepare us for adult life and make us feel safe. We have developed our own class contracts; we know and have agreed the rules we must follow.
