How we teach handwriting

At Winter Gardens Academy, our children learn to become fluent in joining their letters through our Start-Bee handwriting programme. Our Reception, year 1 and year 2 children join in with daily 30 minute sessions. They learn how to hold their pencil currently, have the correct posture for sitting at their table and work on strengthening their fine motor skills
